Comprehensive mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection renovation of the existing 26,000-square-foot, two-story building originally constructed in 1927. The renovation preserved its Neoclassical charm while adding accessibility, outdoor student areas, and high-efficiency mechanical systems, climate-conscious upgrades, including improved moisture control and strategic building pressurization—all within a modest budget and with support from a Southface Institute GoodUse grant.
The renovation project was recognized by the The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation receiving the Excellence in Sustainable Rehabilitation Award. Learn more by clicking here.
