Timothy
L. North, P.E., LEED AP BD+C
PRINCIPAL
Mr.
North joined JSA in 1991 as a project engineer and has over 28
years’ experience within the construction industry, 20 of
those in the consulting engineering field designing HVAC,
plumbing, and fire protection systems. He advanced to an
Associate position in 1998 and became Principal of the firm in
2000. Mr. North is also a LEED Accredited
Professional.
Mr.
North provides leadership by maintaining direct involvement in
planning, design, and production of projects. His dedication
to providing effective and efficient services to our clients
has resulted in many continuing long-term relationships.
Mr. North has successfully designed a wide range of highly
complex commercial and industrial projects for laboratories,
manufacturing facilities, communication facilities, computer
facilities, hospitals, central plants, retirement/health care
facilities, schools, and office buildings.
As
Principal of the firm, his additional responsibilities include
client development, marketing, training, supervision of the
design staff, scheduling and production of projects, ensuring
the QA/QC of the design for his specific projects, overall
business improvement, and day-to-day management activities.
Mr. North demonstrates a hands-on approach for his design
projects from initial start-up through final construction
review.

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; University of
Connecticut, 1979.
