Special Circumstances

• 100% redundancy is built into the chiller plant.

• Central plant supplied chilled water to downflow computer room air handling units with supply plenum below raised floor.

• Two 10,000-gallon underground water storage tanks are used for emergency condenser water make-up to cooling towers and can be filled with either domestic water or well water.

• The entire building can be powered by emergency generators that are supplied by two 10,000-gallon underground fuel tanks.

• Central plant designed to accommodate future doubling of capacity without interrupting cooling.
