Scope

Provide mechanical systems design for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems to build-out 8,500 square feet of the existing data/telecom center.

Special Circumstances

• New mechanical system for the build-out consisted of 220 tons of computer room units using a glycol heat rejection loop. 

• Glycol drycoolers were mounted on a rooftop service platform. 

• A new DDC system was added to monitor and control the entire facility. 

• All work installed while the center stayed in continuous operation.

• A new pre-action dry pipe fire sprinkler system was provided in the existing fire protection system to serve the build-out area.
