Full mechanical
renovation of an existing 135,818 sq. ft. classroom and the addition
of a 8,919 sq. ft. media center and science classroom space. New
HVAC equipment included water-source heat pumps with closed loop
tempered water system. New cooling tower and boilers were added.
Pre-conditioned outside air was ducted to supply air diffusers in
each classroom from roof-mounted dedicated outside air units.
Kitchen exhaust and makeup air units were provided with new grease
and dishwasher hoods. The theater building was upgraded with a
packaged rooftop unit with gas heat, DX cooling and hot gas reheat.
