Scope

Mechanical systems design and construction phase services for 15,600 sq. ft second floor addition to existing city hall and complete renovation of first floor, total area of 31,200 sq. ft.

Special Circumstances

• Nine packaged rooftop units with electric heat were used to condition the second floor and rotunda.

• Nine direct expansion split systems with electric heat were used to condition the first floor.

• An energy recovery ventilator was utilized with first floor split systems to reduce outside air load.

• New water service and pressure reducing station was installed.

• New second floor plumbing fixtures were installed, and applicable first floor fixtures were replaced.

• New electric water heater and circulation pump was installed to serve entire building.

• Construction was phased to keep building in operation while work was completed.
