Special Circumstances

• Jet-throw type diffusers to provide heating and cooling airflow at occupied, Atrium-type spaces with high ceilings.

• Air-to-air heat exchanger included in the HVAC design.

• Multi-zone air unit and HVAC system serving the top floor addressed diverse mix of occupancies that included offices and a Health Club. Coordinated arrangement of exposed ductwork and diffusers included in the design.

• Optimized layout of HVAC systems to assign “like” spaces for diverse functions, including medical office, medical procedure, standard office, waiting rooms, dining room, auditorium and Atrium type spaces, to same air unit to meet Owner’s desire to schedule shutdown of selective air units.
