Special Circumstances

  • Architecturally sensitive building required careful coordination.

  • 40,000 CFM air-conditioning system serving the laboratory building.

  • 71,000 CFM stainless steel general fume exhaust system serving fume hoods and equipment. This system includes final filtration stage and dual exhaust fans.

  • 70,000 CFM conditioned and humidity controlled make-up air system serving the laboratory building.

  • 44,000 CFM, high velocity particulate exhaust system including dust collection.

  • Custom, dual tunnel, 114,000 CFM air-handling unit serving the air conditioning and make-up systems.

  • Three air-cooled chillers with total capacity of 680 tons of cooling.

  • Tempered water system for process cooling.

  • Four dedicated humidity control air-handling units serving specific laboratories.

  • Complete DDC integrated control system.
