Special Circumstances
New high efficiency variable
speed water-cooled chiller will reduce the utility costs associated with
cooling the building.
New chiller uses
environmentally friendly R-134a refrigerant, which does not harm the
ozone layer.
Chiller room has been
upgraded to comply with the latest Codes and Standards relating to
refrigeration machinery room personnel safety.
A 4,000-gallon underground
water storage tank and associated pumps provide water to the cooling
towers when city water service is interrupted.
A new Building Automation
System was installed to control the chilled water plant.
All construction takes place while
the facility maintains 24/7 operations.
Existing generator daytank repiped to serve
new generator.
